Our body needs medication during illness and amit side effects can be a little worrisome if the medicine is not taken without consulting a doctor. It is almost certain that in the world full of anxiety ridden problems and hectic work schedules people at times have to face depression and stress.

The human bodies as we all know has its own limitations although it is indeed a wonderful system that can effectively put a check to any advancing disease or illness. However, if it is allowed to take more strain then it begins to breakup and becomes a mental and physical wreck that needs timely medication.

The strange qualities of amit

For those afflicted with mental disorders amit or perphen amit is a good medication to reduce the disease. The aim of the drug is to treat various types of mental disorders in both male and female. Most patients who have some kind of mental depression are asked by the doctors to use the correct dose for getting relief from the illness.

Among the various depressant available in the market amit or perphen amit is a good medication that gives relief to the patient. The product is not a food supplement and has not been approved of any qualities other than for treating symptoms that range from depressions to suicidal tendencies.

People who are prone to frequent bouts of depression and are having suicidal tendency have to consult the doctor at once and receive the prescribed dose for effectively reducing this type of illness. It is also seen that if taken by people under 25 years of age, this medicine becomes counterproductive increasing their depression and suicidal thoughts even further.

This is perhaps the strangest quality of the depressant and hence utmost care should be taken by the doctors while prescribing them to the patients. However, this medicine is not approved for treatment of dementia which is again a mental disease and this may cause severe amit side effects on patients.

Merits and demerits of amit tablets

Perphen amit or simply amit contains active ingredients of Perphenazine and Amitriptyline. This combination is used for treatment of various mental disorders in patients. The medication should be administered in strict dosages after ascertaining the general physical condition of the patient. Further, it shouldn’t be stopped all at once as this can create withdrawal symptoms in the patient.

Perphenazine is well known antipsychotic drug and this has been in use around the world for a very long period. On the other hand, Amitriptyline is an antidepressant mainly used in reducing depression in the patients.

It is seen in medical practice that there are two different types of symptoms in schizophrenia and these are the negative symptoms and the other the positive symptoms. It is thus seen that Perhenazine, one of the essential ingredient of the amit medication treats the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. These are the hallucination affects and delusions over which a lot of study is still under way.

In the case of treating the negative schizophrenia the Perhenazine has not come to the expectation and its effectiveness is still debated among the medical community. These negative symptoms are popularly known as the flattened affect and poverty of speech. Therefore, more research is on to bring about a better combination for their treatment although some of the amit side effects may be common to all afflictions.

The amit medication comes in two types and this means that it is available in tablet form as well as in liquid concentrate. The liquid concentrate is usually injected into the body of the patient and one injection is said to work for a period of 1 to 4 weeks depending upon the dose of the injection and the physical and mental condition of the patient. Self medication should be avoided at all cost.

Amit Side Effects

All medicines used for treatment of mental disorders have a list of mild to severe side effects. In the case of amit some patients suffer from dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea and constipation. In the case of others the same medicine can lead to loss of appetite, difficulty in passing of urine, nasal congestion ad blurred vision.

Again, there are reports of patients who have taken the medication not able to have the usual sex drive and suffering from ejaculation problem. Then there are some patients who become sensitive to the sun and cannot stand out in the open.

Some medical practitioners have tried to use low dosage of Perphemazine in patients who have a history of drug addiction and alcohol resulting in serious side effects. The practice has been stopped in the present times.

In order to be on the safe side it is suggested and written on the package that the medicine or tablet be stored in tightly covered light resistant environment for more durability. In case the medicine is kept out in the open it may have lesser impact on the patient and thereby reducing its effect on the disease.

More research is therefore needed on the sudden mood swings of the patients which again is yet another one of those amit side effects.
